How hard is pole dancing?
It's as easy as showing up consistently to build more strength, endurance and resilience than you had yesterday.
Am I too big/overweight to start pole dancing?
Pole dancing is a journey and every journey begins with the first step! Unless advised by a medical professional to not start pole dancing, we encourage and celebrate inclusivity at The Pole Point. Our Pole 101 classes are beginner friendly meaning that they cater to persons with minimal to no experience to get started. All you need is to come with an open mind and willingness to fail forward till you fly!
Am I too small/not strong enough to hold myself on the pole?
Our pole sessions help you build strength as you go. Some tricks you will get right away, others may take more time. What is guaranteed is that with consistency and dedication to your pole journey you will become stronger with every class you take, coupled with proper rest and adequate nutrition.
What if I'm over 40? Am I too late?
Your life is just beginning - but only if you believe it and so are the tricks and skills you can master - pole dancing included. In your 40s your level of self awareness becomes higher than it's ever been. If you are someone who loves a challenge, takes your health seriously, loves having a good time even if you feel silly at times, pole dancing is worth it. The community we're building encourages one another, cheers for your wins and gives you the critique you need to be better, stronger and more confident to age even more gracefully.
We've trained up to 50 year olds so far and will be thrilled to encourage and inspire those who are even older.
Is pole dancing fun?
Absolutely! If you're not yet ready to commit to a package but love dancing, consider the following 1 Class Pass options offered at our studio:
Polelates: Here we combine the principles of Pilates with a full-body workout on the mat and at the pole
Jus Passing Through Class: Here we teach pole dancing choreography and floorwork
How to improve flexibility?
Train at least 3 times a week. For best results in your mobility and flexibility, we encourage you to try our classes, learn what is taught and practice not just at our studio but at home or at your gym.
Where exactly are you located?
We are located in Canaan, Tobago. We value safety and privacy for our members which means that the exact location only becomes available when you've committed to joining our community by taking a class/package.
Why are your packages valid for 30 or 60 days?
To see progress in any area of your life requires dedication and consistency. Pole and flexibility are no exceptions to this principle. In order for you to see results you can be proud of, you must carve out time in your weekly schedule that's just for you. Not for the kids, not for your spouse, time just for you.
Thinking of taking a package? Take the jump, fully commit and thank us later.
What is your booking policy?
All classes must be booked, cancelled/rescheduled through our booking app. A link to our booking app will become available after you have paid for your first class/package. Packages are valid for 30-60 consecutive days from your first booked class.
You can schedule, reschedule or cancel a class up until 12 hours before the appointment time. Classes not cancelled or rescheduled within this window are marked as attended therefore, they cannot be rebooked.
Do you have any special events for a group of gals celebrating something special?
